Haven Watch

Pay-It-Forward Awardee

Haven Watch is a grassroots mutual aid initiative in Minnesota that supports people newly released from U.S. Immigration and Customs Enforcement detention, many of whom leave without phones, identification, transportation, or basic supplies. Volunteers provide essentials such as temporary phones, warm clothing, food, rides, and connections to legal, healthcare, and community resources at the Bishop Henry Whipple Federal Building and beyond. Through immediate assistance and ongoing support, the group helps reduce isolation while fostering dignity, stability, and community connection during a vulnerable transition period.
